"Gender-Affirming Care is Trauma-Informed Care" Sticker
This 3.5”x3.5” sticker, designed by Amy Xu, was inspired by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s Gender-Affirming Care is Trauma-Informed Care fact sheet — a resource developed collaboratively by mental healthcare providers across the US. The fact sheet describes the importance of gender-affirming care for transgender and gender diverse youth (TGD) and their families, and its connection to social, emotional and physical well-being, along with a range of strategies and resources for showing acceptance and support.
$1 from each sticker sold will support the Trans Youth Emergency Project at the Campaign for Southern Equality, an organization that helps families identify where they can get their healthcare needs met and helps pay the costs to get them there.
